JOB SUMMARY:
One of the employee’s main responsibilities is cleaning the workspaces, machinery, and manufacturing equipment in a food processing facility. The employee is in charge of handling and preparing sanitizers, cleaning chemicals, and chemical concentrations, as well as managing and storing the chemicals.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with numerous chores in the designated department. Work as a team to turn hogs into fresh and frozen produce.
- Maintain composure in a hectic atmosphere
- cleaning with high pressure and sanitizing
- Jitney driver and scissor lift operator
- Be prepared to follow all hygiene and food safety guidelines at the facility
Needed abilities:
- Experience working in a factory or industrial setting in the past is viewed favorably.
- being able to work in a variety of climates, from cool to warm, and from wet to dry
- physically capable of carrying, pushing, or pulling a weight of up to 27 kg (60 lbs).
- An asset is having knowledge of and commitment to good manufacturing practices.
- An asset is prior knowledge of food manufacturing in a busy setting.
- Must be at ease in a unionized, multicultural environment and dedicated to safe work practices
- Interpersonal and communication skills must be strong, and ongoing improvement must be a priority.
- Ensure that all jobs are completed using safe and hygienic methods in accordance with Company regulations.
Salary & Perks:
STARTING WAGE: $20.60 – $22.70/hour
- Production Bonus of up to $1.00/hour
- Attendance Bonus of up to $1.00/hour
- Further increases as per the Collective Agreement
