For our Customer Service Center team in downtown Moncton, Air Canada is now hiring customer service agents.
We are seeking individuals that love taking on varied duties in a team atmosphere who are goal-oriented, trustworthy, and extremely adaptable. The Customer Service Agent is crucial in ensuring that the aircraft is prepared for a safe and timely departure, whether they are handling luggage, carrying cargo, or running sophisticated loading equipment.
This job is part-time and ongoing. According to the collective bargaining agreement, the starting salary is $19.87 per hour with a $2.50 premium per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Execute transactions through World Tracer and shipment tracing.
- Utilizing various Cargo systems, prepare records and paperwork.
- Performing data entry across several Cargo systems.
- Attend to consumer concerns about delayed, lost, or damaged shipments.
- Run cargo services and lost and found operations. Establish the shipping protocols, cargo check-in, and delivery dates and rates.
- Respond to client interactions via phone and email by working on a cloud-based CRM system.
Qualifications
- Possess great computer abilities, with a preference for understanding Microsoft products.
- Possess good communication abilities, and be able to collaborate with peers and clients by forming trusting bonds.
- Organized, focused on providing good customer service, and skilled time manager.
- Available for shift work and erratic schedules, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and legal holidays.
- A citizen of Canada or a legal immigrant.
- Hold a license that is currently valid.
- Able to travel and participate in an off-site, first, full-time training program that lasts 2-4 weeks.
- Obtain the Transport Canada security card after clearing security.
- Capable of repeatedly lifting up to 70 pounds of large objects without assistance. (32 kilograms).
- The ability to work in a variety of climates.
- Ability to adhere to a precise schedule in order to maintain on-time departures while maintaining safety at all times.
Requirements in Language
Bilingual candidates will be given preference if their qualifications are equal.
