Joining our marketing team is a highly motivated and imaginative Communications Manager with a focus on social media and experience in B2B technology. The Communications Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing effective communication strategies, with a focus on social media and working with influencers. They will collaborate with our public relations agency on media relations initiatives, develop compelling social media content, and cultivate relationships with key industry influencers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations, or a closely related field.
  • Five years of experience in communications or marketing, with an emphasis on social media. Experience working in the industry of customer experience is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong writing abilities for social media, press releases, and other promotional materials.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects.
  • Twitter, LinkedIn, Sprout Social, etc., as well as other social media platforms and tools.
  • Ability to measure the impact of social media campaigns and make data-driven decisions requiring strong analytic skills.
  • Expertise in establishing and sustaining relationships with influential stakeholders, media contacts, and decision-makers.

Duties:

  • To support the company’s objectives and messaging within the customer experience industry, develop and implement communication plans and strategies with a strong emphasis on social media and working with influencers.
  • Develop and administer engaging social media content for multiple platforms, including Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customer experience industry stakeholders, media contacts, and influencers to create and promote content.
  • Work with influencer partners to develop campaigns and collaborations that are mutually beneficial.
  • Assist our public relations firm with media relations management, including working with internal stakeholders to respond to inquiries and coordinating interviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and executive leadership, to ensure consistent and effective messaging.
  • Draft, distribute, and increase the visibility of press releases, announcements, and other promotional content.
  • ensuring that brand standards are maintained across all marketing channels.

The salary range for this position is between $113,000 and $130,000. Actual compensation will be based on a number of factors, including past experience and qualifications, geographic location, and other legally permissible job-related factors.
