Position Overview:

As an Early Childhood Educator at GARDERIE EDUCATIVE HARMONIE D'ENFANCE INC., you will play a pivotal role in the growth and development of our children. You will design and implement engaging educational activities that support each child's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. By creating a safe and supportive learning environment, you will contribute to building a strong foundation for lifelong learning and success.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute developmentally appropriate educational activities and programs for young children.
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes children's social interactions and emotional well-being.
• Observe and assess each child's progress, identifying areas for improvement and tailoring activities accordingly.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to create a cohesive and stimulating learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, sharing insights into children's development and addressing any concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom that adheres to health and safety regulations.
• Continuously engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of special events, field trips, and other enrichment activities.

Qualifications:

• A recognized diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education (DEC or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Valid certification from the Ministry of Education in Quebec for Early Childhood Educators.
• Strong passion for working with young children and a deep understanding of child development principles.
• Excellent communication skills, both with children and adults.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• First Aid and CPR certification (an asset).
• Bilingualism (English and French) is preferred.
