Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Team Leadership: Leading by example, you will oversee and motivate a team of retail associates, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. You will provide guidance, support, and training to ensure that team members perform their duties effectively and deliver exceptional service to customers.
• Customer Service Excellence: Upholding our commitment to superior customer service, you will ensure that customers receive prompt assistance, resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner, and maintain a welcoming and tidy store environment. Your goal will be to exceed customer expectations and cultivate strong relationships with our clientele.
• Inventory Management: You will be responsible for managing inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks, and placing orders for merchandise to ensure adequate supply. You will also monitor product expiry dates, handle returns or exchanges, and implement strategies to minimize shrinkage and loss.
• Cash Handling and Reporting: Overseeing cashiers and cash handling procedures, you will ensure accuracy in transactions, reconcile daily sales, and prepare financial reports as required. Your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of our financial records.
• Compliance and Safety: Adhering to company policies and industry regulations, you will ensure compliance with safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and legal requirements. You will conduct regular inspections to identify any potential hazards and take appropriate measures to address them promptly.
• Promotions and Marketing: Collaborating with management, you will assist in implementing promotional activities, displays, and marketing initiatives to drive sales and enhance the visibility of our store within the community. Your creativity and proactive approach will contribute to the success of our marketing efforts.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a retail supervisory role preferred
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
