Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at 2645430 Ontario Corporation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Daily Operations: Manage day-to-day store activities, ensuring smooth operations and efficient workflow.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor store staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that all customers receive prompt, friendly, and professional service.
  • Merchandising and Inventory: Oversee merchandising, stock management, and inventory control to ensure product availability and presentation standards are met.
  • Sales Performance: Monitor and drive store sales performance, implementing strategies to achieve sales targets and improve profitability.
  • Staff Scheduling: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage during peak and off-peak hours.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe and clean store environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve customer complaints and employee issues promptly and effectively.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in financial tasks, including cash handling, daily sales reports, and budget management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a retail setting.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional training or certification in retail management or business administration is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
