Job Description:

Circle K is currently seeking a motivated and experienced LMIA Retail Store Supervisor to join our team in Surrey, BC. As the Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring the efficient functioning of the store. Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate store staff, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure they deliver excellent customer service and meet performance targets.
• Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Customer Service: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
• Sales and Promotion: Implement sales strategies and promotional activities to drive revenue and increase store profitability, such as product displays, upselling, and suggestive selling techniques.
• Training and Development: Train new employees on store procedures, product knowledge, and customer service standards, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for existing staff.
• Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure work environment for employees and customers by enforcing safety guidelines, conducting regular inspections, and addressing any safety concerns promptly.
• Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative tasks, such as scheduling staff shifts, preparing reports, and managing payroll, to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.

Qualifications:

• Retail Experience: Previous experience in a retail environment, with a minimum of 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Customer Focus: Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Organizational Skills: Effective organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven ability to identify and address operational issues quickly and efficiently.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the needs of the business.
• Knowledge of POS Systems: Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail technology platforms is an asset.
