Job Description:
K-Hart Industries Ltd. is seeking Temporary Foreign Workers approved under the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) program to join our team as Warehouse Associates. This role involves various tasks related to receiving, storing, and distributing materials within the warehouse. The ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and Inspection: Receive incoming shipments of raw materials and components, inspect them for damage or defects, and verify quantities against packing slips or purchase orders. Report any discrepancies or issues to warehouse supervisors.
- Inventory Management: Store materials and components in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and organization. Conduct regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels and report any shortages or excesses.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders for shipment to customers or production areas, following work orders and shipping instructions. Ensure that all items are correctly labeled and packed securely for transportation.
- Shipping Coordination: Assist with preparing shipping documents, such as bills of lading and packing slips. Coordinate with shipping carriers and logistics providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to move materials and components within the warehouse. Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance issues.
- Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Adhere to company policies and industry regulations to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Qualifications:
- LMIA approval for Warehouse Associate position.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or a related field preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and completing paperwork.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and overtime, as needed.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
