Job Description:

Grizzly Ase Inc. is currently seeking Temporary Foreign Workers approved under the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) program to join our team as Shippers. This role is key to the smooth operation of our shipping and receiving processes, ensuring that goods are accurately packed, labeled, and shipped to their destinations.

Job Details:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipping according to company procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy by cross-referencing order details with shipping manifests and verifying product quantities and types.
  • Packing and Labeling: Securely pack products using appropriate packing materials to prevent damage during transit. Label packages with shipping information, tracking numbers, and special handling instructions as required.
  • Inventory Management: Keep accurate records of inventory levels and notify supervisors when stock is low or discrepancies occur. Assist with inventory counts and restocking shelves as needed.
  • Shipping Coordination: Work with shipping carriers and freight companies to arrange pickups and deliveries.
  • Ensure all documentation, including bills of lading and shipping labels, is correctly completed and filed.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working in the warehouse. Use equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize safety risks.
  • Quality Control: Conduct final inspections on packages before shipping to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Report any damaged or defective products to supervisors for further action.

Qualifications:

  • LMIA approval for Shipper position.
  • Previous experience in shipping, warehousing, or logistics preferred but not required.
  • Basic understanding of shipping procedures and inventory management.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and packing.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy packages and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
