Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team under the Temporary Foreign Worker program. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring the highest standards of service and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Staff Supervision: Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team of staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain accurate records to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, sales targets, and cost control measures.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, provincial, and federal regulations, including labor laws and health standards.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on restaurant performance, including sales, expenses, and customer feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role within the restaurant industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with Canadian food safety regulations and labor laws.
  • Language: Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills are an asset.
