Job Description:

Forage Restaurant & The Jervis Joint is seeking Temporary Foreign Workers approved under the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) program to join our team as Restaurant Managers. This role is crucial for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurants, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing a dynamic team. The ideal candidates are experienced in restaurant management, customer-focused, and passionate about the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of Forage
  • Restaurant and The Jervis Joint, ensuring that all activities run smoothly.
  • This includes managing staff, scheduling shifts, and coordinating with suppliers.
  • Customer Service: Ensure outstanding customer service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing any customer inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally. Lead by example to inspire staff to provide excellent service.
  • Staff Management: Supervise, train, and motivate restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen personnel. Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and manage staffing levels to meet business demands.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness. Ensure that the restaurants comply with all health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance.
  • Financial Management: Monitor restaurant budgets, track expenses, and manage cash handling. Collaborate with upper management to set financial targets and develop strategies to meet or exceed those goals.
  • Event Coordination: Coordinate special events, such as private dinners, catering, or community gatherings. Manage event logistics, including staffing, setup, and customer communication.


  • LMIA approval for Restaurant Manager position.
  • Previous experience in restaurant management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a customer-centric attitude.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
