Job Description:

As an LMIA Operating Officer at Columbia International College, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the operational functions of our institution. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the college, ensuring all departments function effectively and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Monitor and manage the college’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with academic and administrative staff to align operational strategies with the college’s goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain accreditation standards.
  • Coordinate with external partners, including suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Identify and implement improvements to operational processes, leveraging technology and best practices.
  • Manage human resources functions, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure the college’s facilities and infrastructure are maintained to high standards.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management and the board of directors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in an operational management role, preferably within an educational institution.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial management.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective operational policies and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using technology to improve operational efficiency.
  • Understanding of regulatory and accreditation requirements in the education sector.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
