Role Overview:

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Long Haul Drivers to join our team at 12269147 Canada Inc. As a Long Haul Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods over long distances, ensuring timely and safe delivery. This position is open to individuals under the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, with the opportunity to apply for the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

Key Responsibilities:

• Transportation: Safely operate and drive company trucks to transport goods over interprovincial and international routes. Ensure adherence to all road safety regulations and company policies.
• Route Planning: Plan and follow efficient routes for timely delivery. Adjust routes as necessary to account for traffic, weather conditions, and other factors.
• Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods to prevent damage during transit.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo, including delivery receipts, logs of working hours, and vehicle inspection reports. Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and submitted on time.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Report any mechanical issues and ensure the truck is in good working condition.
• Communication: Maintain regular communication with dispatchers and clients to provide updates on delivery status and address any issues that may arise during transit.
• Compliance: Adhere to all federal and provincial transportation regulations, including hours of service, weight limits, and hazardous materials handling, if applicable.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a long-haul truck driver. Experience with cross-border transportation is an asset.
• Licensing: Valid Class 1/AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record. Additional endorsements (e.g., air brakes, hazardous materials) are a plus.
• Skills: Strong navigation and route planning skills. Ability to operate GPS and other navigation tools effectively.
• Physical Fitness: Capability to handle the physical demands of the job, including loading and unloading cargo.
• Language: Proficiency in English is required. Additional language skills are an advantage.
• Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in Canada under the Temporary Foreign Worker Program. Opportunities for
