Job Overview:

As an LMIA Landscape Worker at Pioneer Inn by the River, you will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal of our grounds, including gardens, lawns, walkways, and riverbanks. This role requires a combination of landscaping skills, physical stamina, and a keen eye for detail. You will work as part of a team to ensure our property remains beautiful and welcoming for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and care for lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs, and other landscaping features.
• Mow, trim, and edge lawns to ensure a clean and manicured appearance.
• Plant, prune, and maintain trees, shrubs, and flowers according to seasonal requirements.
• Remove weeds, leaves, and debris from gardens, walkways, and other outdoor areas.
• Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
• Perform basic maintenance and repair of landscaping equipment and tools.
• Follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while working.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete landscaping projects efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Basic English language skills are preferred but not required.
