As an LMIA Landscape Architectural Technician at 627648 B.C. LTD, you will play a crucial role in supporting our landscape architects in the design and implementation of various landscape projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of landscape design plans, drawings, and specifications using CAD software.
- Conduct site analysis, including surveying, soil testing, and evaluating existing vegetation.
- Prepare detailed construction documents, including grading, drainage, and planting plans.
- Collaborate with landscape architects and other team members to develop design concepts and solutions.
- Conduct research on materials, plants, and sustainable practices to inform design decisions.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
- Monitor project progress and provide support during the construction phase to ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and schedules for landscape projects.
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in landscape architecture, horticulture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) and other design tools.
- Strong understanding of landscape design principles, construction techniques, and plant materials.
