Position Overview:

15913926 Canada Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant under the Temporary Foreign Worker program. The Junior Accountant will support our accounting team in managing daily financial tasks, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including ledger entries, invoices, and receipts.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and financial records.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and summaries for management review.
  • Tax Preparation: Support the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Auditing Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data into accounting software and maintain updated records.
  • Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the accounting department as needed.


  • Education: Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in accounting or finance is preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or issues.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
