Job Description:

We are currently seeking Temporary Foreign Workers approved under the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) program to join our household as Housekeeping Aides at Lesly Family. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our home, ensuring a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for our family and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform cleaning tasks throughout the home, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and common areas to maintain a hygienic living environment.
• Laundry and Linen Care: Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron clothing, linens, and towels as needed. Ensure that laundry is properly sorted and treated according to fabric type and care instructions. Change bed linens and replace towels regularly to maintain freshness and cleanliness.
• Organization and Tidying: Organize and tidy up rooms and living spaces, including decluttering surfaces, arranging furniture, and storing items neatly. Assist with the organization of closets, cabinets, and storage areas to maximize space and accessibility.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and replenish household supplies, including cleaning products, toiletries, and linens. Keep inventory of supplies and inform the family of any items that need to be restocked or replaced.
• Special Projects: Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as seasonal cleaning, deep cleaning, and preparing rooms for guests or events. Collaborate with other household staff members to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

• LMIA approval for Housekeeping Aide position.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
