Job Summary:

Apple Tree Caregiver Services Ltd. is seeking empathetic and reliable Home Care Workers to join our dynamic team. • Education: High School or Diploma Degree
• Experience: 1-2 Basic Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as necessary.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities and conversations.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health, behavior, or needs to supervisors.
• Administer medication as directed and ensure adherence to prescribed healthcare plans.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of assistive devices.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, and social activities.
• Follow care plans and document care provided accurately and promptly.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in caregiving or home care is preferred but not required; comprehensive training will be provided.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and transferring clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, compassion, and a strong desire to help others.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation is an asset.
