Job Description:
Canuck Windows is seeking Temporary Foreign Workers approved under the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) program to join our team as Glass Workers. This role is critical to the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of our glass products. The ideal candidates are skilled in working with glass, have a strong attention to detail, and are committed to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Glass Fabrication: Cut, shape, and polish glass to specified dimensions using various tools and equipment.
- Ensure that all glass pieces are prepared to precise measurements and meet quality standards.
- Window and Glass Installation: Install glass windows, doors, and other products in residential and commercial settings. Ensure proper alignment, sealing, and fastening to achieve a secure and weatherproof installation.
- Quality Control: Inspect glass products for defects, cracks, or imperfections. Ensure that all glass meets industry standards and client specifications before installation or delivery.
- Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when working with glass and related tools. Adhere to company policies and industry regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and care for glass cutting and polishing equipment. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors for repair or replacement.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers professionally during installations or on-site work. Address customer inquiries or concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction with the final product.
Qualifications:
- LMIA approval for Glass Worker position.
- Previous experience in glass fabrication, installation, or a related field.
- Knowledge of glass handling, cutting, and shaping techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy glass pieces.
