Job Summary:

Cob Roller Farms is seeking dedicated and hardworking General Farm Labourers to join our team. As a General Farm Labourer, you will play a crucial role in supporting various farm operations, ensuring the smooth running of daily activities, and contributing to the overall success of our farm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• Perform soil preparation, irrigation, and fertilization tasks.
• Monitor crop health and report any issues to farm supervisors.
• Sort, pack, and store harvested produce.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with general maintenance and repair of farm buildings and structures.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in farming or agricultural work is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of farm machinery and equipment operation.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays, during peak seasons.
