Job Description:

We are currently seeking Temporary Foreign Workers approved under the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) program to join our team as Fruit Farming Labourers at A & M Toor Farm Ltd. This position involves various tasks related to fruit cultivation, harvest, and maintenance, contributing to the success of our farming operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Crop Maintenance: Assist with the planting, pruning, and thinning of fruit trees and bushes to promote healthy growth and maximize yields. Monitor crop health and implement pest and disease control measures as directed.
• Harvesting: Participate in the harvest of fruits, including picking, sorting, and packing according to quality standards and market requirements. Work efficiently to ensure timely and effective harvesting operations.
• Fieldwork: Perform general farm labor tasks, such as irrigation, weeding, and mulching, to support crop growth and development. Operate farm equipment and machinery safely and responsibly.
• Quality Control: Inspect fruits for size, color, and ripeness, removing any damaged or defective produce. Follow established procedures for handling and packaging fruits to maintain product quality and freshness.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace. Follow instructions from supervisors and work cooperatively with team members to ensure a safe and productive working environment.

Qualifications:

• LMIA approval for Fruit Farming Labourer position.
• Previous experience in fruit farming or agricultural work preferred but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
