Job Description:

We are currently seeking Temporary Foreign Workers approved under the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) program to join our team as Family Caregivers at Nelse Millan (Private Company). This position is essential to our mission of providing compassionate and personalized care to individuals and families in need of support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Personal Care: Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Support clients with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed.
• Medication Management: Assist clients with medication reminders, administration, and documentation according to prescribed schedules and dosage instructions. Monitor for any adverse reactions or changes in health status.
• Companionship: Engage clients in meaningful social activities and conversations to promote mental and emotional well-being. Provide companionship and emotional support to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
• Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary preferences, restrictions, and cultural considerations. Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
• Household Support: Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying up common areas. Assist with grocery shopping and running errands as needed.

Qualifications:

• LMIA approval for Family Caregiver position.
• Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, or related field preferred.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to help others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans and instructions accurately.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
