Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling dishes.
• Follow recipes and cooking techniques under the guidance of kitchen staff.
• Operate kitchen equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste.
• Assist with inventory management, including stocking and rotating food supplies.
• Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred, but not required.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and take direction.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain one (may be required).
