Job Summary:

We are seeking a diligent, detail-oriented, and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team and oversee our cleaning operations. This position is open to temporary foreign workers, with support provided through the LMIA and PNP programs. As a Cleaning Supervisor at NEWGEN CLEANING SERVICES, you will be responsible for managing cleaning staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, and delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the work of cleaning staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.
• Train new employees on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and the use of equipment and cleaning products.
• Inspect completed work to ensure high standards of cleanliness and client satisfaction.
• Schedule and assign tasks to staff, optimizing efficiency and coverage for all cleaning projects.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to ensure availability.
• Address client concerns and requests promptly, ensuring exceptional customer service.
• Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate updates, provide feedback, and foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Prepare and submit reports on cleaning activities, staff performance, and inventory levels.
• Assist with hands-on cleaning tasks as necessary to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Knowledge of various cleaning products, equipment, and techniques.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
• Certification in workplace safety and first aid (or willingness to obtain).
• Background check and references required.
