Responsibilities:
- Pool Safety: Maintain constant vigilance over the thermal mineral pool and spa areas, ensuring the safety of all guests. Act promptly and effectively to prevent and manage emergencies, following established safety protocols.
- Guest Assistance: Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and needs in a friendly and professional manner.
- Enforce Rules: Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests. Take appropriate actions to address rule violations and prevent unsafe behavior.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to any emergencies, including water rescues, medical incidents, and other potential hazards. Administer first aid and CPR as necessary, following your training and certifications.
- Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain pool equipment, ensuring that all safety equipment, such as rescue tubes and first aid kits, are in proper working condition.
- Crowd Control: Manage the number of guests in the pool and spa areas to prevent overcrowding and ensure a comfortable experience for all visitors.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, and interventions. Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor promptly.
- Training and Certifications: Stay up-to-date with lifeguard training and certifications, including CPR, first aid, and water rescue techniques.
Qualifications:
- Lifeguard Certification: Valid lifeguard certification from a recognized agency (e.g., Red Cross, YMCA, etc.).
- CPR and First Aid: Current CPR and first aid certifications are required.
- Swimming Skills: Strong swimming abilities and comfort in the water are essential.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to remain calm and composed during emergencies.
- Customer Service: Friendly, approachable, and committed to providing exceptional customer service.
- Attention to Detail: Diligent in observing and enforcing safety protocols and rules.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure a safe and enjoyable guest experience.
