Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation and baking of a variety of baked goods, including biscotti, cookies, muffins, and cakes.
• Measure and weigh ingredients according to recipes and portion sizes.
• Mix, knead, and shape dough by hand or using bakery equipment.
• Operate baking ovens and monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results.
• Decorate and garnish baked goods with icing, glazes, and toppings as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bakery, including equipment and work surfaces.
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking ingredients and supplies.
• Follow recipes and baking procedures accurately to maintain consistency and quality.
• Collaborate with other bakery staff to coordinate production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and standards to ensure the safety and well-being of customers and staff.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in baking or food preparation is preferred but not required.
• Passion for baking and enthusiasm for learning new techniques and recipes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one.
