As an HR Advisor at GROUPE MINIER CMAC-THYSSEN INC., you will play a vital role in supporting our human resources team in various aspects of HR management. Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with department managers and leaders to understand their staffing needs, organizational objectives, and HR-related challenges.
- Provide expertise and guidance on a range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, and talent development.
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to candidate selection, ensuring a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
- Conduct interviews, evaluate candidates' suitability, and recommend the most suitable candidates for hire.
- Collaborate with management to create and implement effective performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
- Handle employee relations matters, addressing concerns, grievances, and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing data-driven recommendations to enhance HR processes and strategies.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of training programs, workshops, and initiatives to enhance employees' skills and promote a positive work culture.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that align with the company's values and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of [4] years of experience in HR advisory roles, preferably in the mining or related industry.
- Solid understanding of Canadian employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Experience in recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and HR program development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset but not mandatory.
