Key Responsibilities:

  • Room Cleaning and Preparation:
    • Clean and maintain guest rooms according to established standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms.
    • Ensure that all amenities and supplies are replenished in each room.
  • Public Area Maintenance:
    • Clean and maintain common areas, corridors, and public spaces to ensure a clean and pleasant environment for guests.
    • Vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and clean glass surfaces as required.
  • Linen and Supply Management:
    • Handle and sort linens and towels for laundering and replacement.
    • Restock carts with necessary supplies and amenities for efficient room cleaning.
  • Attention to Detail:
    • Pay meticulous attention to detail when cleaning and arranging guest rooms to ensure they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Guest Interaction:
    • Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously, providing assistance and fulfilling any additional housekeeping-related needs.
  • Collaboration:
    • Coordinate with other housekeeping staff to ensure a smooth workflow and efficient room turnovers.
    • Communicate any maintenance or repair needs discovered during cleaning to the appropriate department.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
    • Follow established hotel policies and procedures to maintain a secure and organized work environment.


  • Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or related roles is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient room turnovers.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an advantage.

Working Conditions:
