Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning duties, including but not limited to: vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing to ensure guest rooms, public areas, and other facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Change bed linens and make beds in accordance with established procedures.
- Replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels in guest rooms and public areas.
- Maintain and stock the cleaning cart with appropriate supplies.
- Respond to guest requests for additional amenities promptly and professionally.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance needs and report any issues to the appropriate department.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and cleaning equipment.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns with courtesy and professionalism.
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push heavy equipment and supplies.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
