Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, offering recommendations and answering any questions they may have about menu items.
• Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverage items, such as sandwiches, beverages, and snacks, according to established recipes and guidelines.
• Handle cash and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, ensuring accurate transactions and proper cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized food counter area, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and workstations to meet health and safety standards.
• Follow proper food handling and hygiene protocols to ensure the freshness and quality of products.
• Stock and replenish food counter items as needed, ensuring the availability of products for customers.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, reporting shortages or excesses to the supervisor as required.
• Assist in the preparation of food items as needed, following established recipes and guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and efficient customer service.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and courteous manner, escalating issues as necessary.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards at all times.
• Participate in training programs to enhance product knowledge, customer service skills, and food safety practices.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills, with a positive and approachable attitude.
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move moderately heavy items.
• Adaptability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities as needed.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required.
