Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashers or by hand, ensuring all items are spotless and ready for use.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and food preparation areas, including sweeping, mopping, and ensuring surfaces are free from debris.
- Empty and clean trash receptacles, ensuring proper disposal of waste materials.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and cleaning ingredients.
- Maintain a well-organized dishwashing area and ensure all cleaning supplies are properly stocked.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth workflow and support efficient service.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow established procedures for dishwashing, cleaning, and sanitation to meet the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Assist in other kitchen-related tasks as directed by the culinary team or management.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
