Key Responsibilities:

• Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of appetizing and balanced meals for residents, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and cultural preferences.
• Menu Planning: Assist in planning weekly menus that offer a diverse range of dishes while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Food Safety: Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff, including sous chefs and kitchen assistants, to ensure efficient meal service.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to residents, addressing their dietary needs and preferences, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage food inventory, order supplies, and maintain records of food costs.
• Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations, including COVID-19 protocols, to ensure the safety of residents and staff.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Cook or Chef in a similar setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Culinary school diploma or certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of diverse cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
