Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and requirements.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these plans, making necessary adjustments to meet project objectives.
• Manage project resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Provide clear direction and leadership to project teams, ensuring all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards, and identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to clients and stakeholders, addressing progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Manage project changes and variations, ensuring proper documentation, communication, and impact assessment.
• Foster strong relationships with clients by maintaining effective communication, addressing concerns, and exceeding expectations.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to construction project management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, overseeing complex commercial or residential construction projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Canadian construction regulations, codes, and safety standards.
