The Full-Time Machine Operator position is responsible for operation of the inovo machine and other elemental activities related to hatchery operations.
- Set up of inovo equipment
- Pulling incubator buggies into inovo room
- Removing eggs from incubator buggies to place into inovo equipment
- Operating inovo equipment to vaccinate and transfer eggs
- Wash buggies and egg flats
- Removing and stacking full hatch trays
- Loading hatch tray stacks into hatchers
- Sanitation of inovo equipment
- Sanitation of work area
- Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements
- Must be capable of lifting 50lbs repetitively (overhead lifting required)
- Must be able to work in a wet/humid environment
- Must be able to work in small groups with minimal supervision
- Must be able to move full Setter Racks of eggs
- Must be able to follow SOP’S , HACCP Requirements & schedules
- Must be capable of standing for long periods
Salary & Perks:
- Salary: $21.20/hour – Hourly wage is $20.70/hour + 0.50 schedule premium (6 month wage progression wage starts at $20.20 – $19.70 hourly wage + 0.50 schedule premium)
- Retention bonus payable of $1,000
- Benefits after 3 months of continuous service
- Pension after 1 year of continuous service
- All PPE is provided to employees (Boot Reimbursement of $125 after 3 months of service)
