Key Responsibilities:

As a Security Guard Supervisor at Fortress Security Guard Services, you will be responsible for leading a team of security personnel and ensuring the effective provision of security services. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of security guards, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they perform their duties efficiently and professionally.
• Shift Management: Oversee and coordinate work schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and the smooth operation of security services.
• Client Relations: Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their security concerns and ensuring their needs are met to the highest standard.
• Security Protocols: Enforce security protocols and procedures, ensuring that all security personnel adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
• Incident Response: Act as the first point of contact for security-related incidents, responding promptly and effectively to maintain the safety and security of the premises.
• Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for security personnel, emphasizing the importance of security measures, emergency response, and customer service.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of security incidents, patrols, and daily activities, as well as produce reports as needed.
• Compliance: Ensure that the security team complies with all legal requirements and industry standards, including licensing and training.

Qualifications:

• Foreign applicants are welcome to apply. Canadian work authorization or related immigration status will be required.
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (additional languages are an asset).
• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and perform security duties for extended periods.
• Valid security guard license or the ability to obtain one.
• First Aid/CPR certification is an advantage.
