Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction Management:
- Process orders and payments quickly and accurately.
- Handle cash and give the correct change.
- Operate the cash register and POS system proficiently.
- Keep track of all transactions.
- Customer Service:
- Greet customers as they arrive and thank them as they leave.
- Address customer queries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and promotions.
- Maintain Cleanliness:
- Ensure that the cashier station and front-of-house area are tidy and organized.
- Assist with cleaning tasks as needed.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with other tasks, such as order preparation, when required.
- Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
- Follow all safety and health regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role is an asset.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
