Job Description:

We are currently seeking Temporary Foreign Workers approved under the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) program to join our team as Nursery Labourers at 1000267618 Ontario Inc. This position is integral to our nursery operations, involving a variety of tasks related to plant care, maintenance, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plant Care: Assist with the care and maintenance of plants, trees, and shrubs in the nursery. This may include watering, pruning, fertilizing, and pest control to ensure optimal plant health and growth.
• Propagation: Assist with the propagation of plants through seeding, cutting, grafting, and transplanting techniques. Follow established procedures and guidelines to propagate plants accurately and efficiently.
• Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving, stocking, and organizing plants and supplies. Keep accurate records of plant varieties, quantities, and locations within the nursery.
• Customer Service: Assist customers with plant selection, providing information and guidance on plant care, characteristics, and suitability for specific growing conditions. Answer customer inquiries and address any concerns or issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• General Maintenance: Perform general maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, weeding, and mulching, to keep the nursery clean, organized, and free from debris. Assist with the maintenance of equipment and facilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• LMIA approval for Nursery Labourer position.
• Previous experience in horticulture, landscaping, or nursery work preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of plant care and maintenance techniques.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in outdoor conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
