Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of logistics coordinators and drivers, ensuring adherence to schedules and deadlines.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize daily shipment assignments based on customer requirements, delivery schedules, and available resources.
• Monitor the performance of logistics operations, including on-time delivery, load efficiency, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Develop and implement efficient routing strategies to minimize transportation costs and maximize delivery efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with other departments, including dispatch, warehouse, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination of logistics activities.
• Address any issues or concerns related to logistics operations, including delays, route changes, or customer inquiries, in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide leadership and guidance to logistics team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in logistics management, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the transportation or logistics industry.
• Strong knowledge of logistics principles, transportation regulations, and industry best practices.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in logistics software and systems, including transportation management systems (TMS) and route optimization tools.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with team members and interact with clients and vendors.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if required).
• Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.
