Job Description:

We are seeking Temporary Foreign Workers approved under the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) program to join our household as Live-In Caregivers at the Allan Robert Mansfield residence. This position involves providing compassionate care and support to the residents, ensuring their daily needs are met with warmth and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Personal Care Assistance: Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide mobility support, including the use of mobility aids, to ensure residents' safety and comfort.
• Medication Management: Administer prescribed medications to residents according to schedules and doctor's instructions. Maintain accurate records of medication administration and report any side effects or issues to healthcare providers.
• Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals based on residents' dietary needs and preferences. Ensure that meals are balanced and in accordance with any dietary restrictions. Assist with feeding, if required.
• Household Management: Maintain a clean and organized living environment. This includes light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, dusting, and general tidying. Ensure that residents' living spaces are safe and clutter-free.
• Companionship and Emotional Support: Provide companionship to residents, engaging in conversations, activities, and outings. Offer emotional support and be a positive presence in their lives, contributing to their overall well-being.
• Safety and Emergency Response: Monitor residents' health and safety, taking prompt action in case of emergencies. Be familiar with emergency protocols and first aid procedures to respond appropriately to any incidents.

Qualifications:

• LMIA approval for Live-In Caregiver position.
• Previous experience in caregiving, nursing, or a related field preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in helping others.
• Ability to work independently and handle various caregiving tasks.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, with a live-in arrangement.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect residents' privacy.
