Key Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables, and preparing ingredients.
• Cooking Assistance: Support cooks and chefs by fetching ingredients, utensils, and other necessary items during food preparation and cooking.
• Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste.
• Inventory Management: Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, and ensure proper stock rotation to maintain freshness.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
• Support: Perform other kitchen duties as required, such as plating dishes and assisting in food presentation.

Qualifications

• Experience: No prior kitchen experience required; training will be provided.
• Skills: Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards is an asset but not necessary.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.
