Job Summary:

TapRoot Farms Inc. is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Harvesting Labourers. This role is crucial to our farm operations, focusing on the efficient and effective harvesting of our diverse range of crops. As a Harvesting Labourer, you will play an integral part in ensuring our produce reaches markets and consumers in the best possible condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Harvest various crops according to the farm's schedule and standards.
• Operate and maintain farm equipment and tools.
• Sort, pack, and prepare harvested produce for transport and sale.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of work areas.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily and seasonal goals.
• Assist with planting, weeding, and other crop management tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in farming or agricultural work is an asset but not required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of English or French is preferred.
