Job Description:

High Quality Daily Fresh Produce Ltd. is seeking Temporary Foreign Workers approved under the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) program to join our team as Fruit Farm Workers. This role involves a variety of tasks related to fruit cultivation, harvest, and general farm maintenance. The ideal candidates are hard-working, adaptable, and enjoy working outdoors in a farm environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fruit Cultivation: Assist with planting and tending fruit crops, including soil preparation, planting trees or bushes, and applying fertilizers. Monitor fruit crops for signs of disease or pests, and report any issues to farm supervisors.
• Harvesting: Participate in the harvest of various fruits, including picking, sorting, and packing according to quality standards. Ensure proper handling of fruits to minimize damage and ensure freshness.
• Irrigation and Water Management: Assist with setting up and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure fruit crops receive adequate water. Monitor water distribution and make adjustments as needed to prevent waste and ensure crop health.
• General Farm Maintenance: Perform general farm tasks, such as weeding, pruning, and removing debris from fields. Assist with maintaining farm equipment and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and farm policies. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures when operating machinery or handling farming equipment.

Qualifications:

• LMIA approval for Fruit Farm Worker position.
• Previous experience in agriculture or farming is preferred but not required.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
